You do not need a referral to access therapy. Some clients choose to pay privately or use their private health insurance to partially fund their sessions.
If you would like to access Medicare rebates, you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.
This plan provides access to Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. Sessions can be conducted either in person or via secure video consultation.

Some private health funds offer rebates for psychological therapy.
As cover varies between providers and policies, you are encouraged to check your level of cover directly with your health fund. -
Standard sessions are 60 minutes in length and the fee is $240.
Face-to-face and telehealth sessions are charged at the same rate. -
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee, as this time is unlikely to be offered to another client at short notice.
