Gail Frank is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Social Work and a Certificate IV in Coaching. She has over 35 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of personal and professional challenges.
Throughout her career, Gail has worked in a variety of clinical and organisational settings, including the Family Court, Relationships Australia as a Senior Manager, the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS) as 2IC, and the Women’s Health Service as a Senior Clinician. Since 2008, she has held the role of Adviser to Staff at the Australian National University.
Gail is committed to helping individuals gain clarity, build resilience, and navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence. She provides a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns and move forward at their own pace.
Gail works with concerns such as anxiety, stress and burnout, trauma, life transitions, grief, workplace challenges and relationship difficulties.
She draws on a range of therapeutic and coaching frameworks in consultation with each client, including Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Radical Exposure Therapy (RET), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her approach is tailored to each individual, depending on their goals and presenting concerns.
Gail particularly values working with the diverse range of issues individuals bring, and is passionate about supporting meaningful and lasting change.
She offers sessions in Canberra and via secure telehealth across Australia.
